As many readers will be aware, the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust periodically run raffle draws, the prize being unique or very unusual shooting days for a full set of guns.
I was recently approached by the Trust and asked to document such a day, a partridge shoot for eight guest guns across three well-known and respected Leicestershire and Lincolnshire estates. The brief was for press release images, so less about individuals, more about the scenery and setting.
We met at Ropsley House for coffee and an introduction or two, before heading out for the first drive. Our second stop was nearby Woodnook, before a slightly longer transfer to the last two drives on the Belvoir Estate.
