For the first time in in recent years the Belvoir Hunt Ball was held in Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire, in February, having previously been held in mid-Summer, in a marquee at the kennels, on the Estate.
The Grade 1 listed castle is the ancestral home to the Dukes of Rutland and sits in of 15,000 acres. It is currently the home of the 11th Duke of Rutland, David Manners, his wife Emma, Duchess of Rutland, and five children, Ladies Violet, Alice and Eliza; Charles, Marquess of Granby and Lord Hugo Manners.
Guests were welcomed to the Castle's gallery for pre-dinner drinks, before dining in either the Ball Room or State Dining Room.
More guests came after dinner, having eaten privately or, in many cases in The Engine Yard, the newest of the Estate's visitor attractions.
After dinner there was dancing which continued well into the following day. Guests revived themselves with themed cocktails and early morning pizza.
