New Zealander Amanda Pottinger (30) is currently based in the UK near Cheltenham. The pair contested its first 5* at Adelaide in 2019 completing in 4^th place and finished in 35th place at Badminton in 2022.

In 2014 after completing a BSc in AgriScience at Massey University, Amanda joined the BEL Group Dairy Farming business located in Hawkes Bay where she works as a Business Analyst.

She was the Open National Champion in 2016 and 2018

Amanda is the daughter of the former New Zealand international rider Tinks Pottinger who was fourth at Badminton in 1988 and later that year won an Olympic team bronze medal in Seoul.

Amanda enjoys Fishing, golf, walking, the beach and dogs.

Just Kidding (aka Ferg) owned by Mrs Tinks and Mr Andy Pottinger and rider is a 16-Year-old Australian thoroughbred. He is by the 2000 Kentucky Derby winner FUSAICHI PEGASUS (then sold to Coolmore Stud for $70 million) out of a mare by Sadlers Wells. Just Kidding was originally sold as a yearling for 100,000NZD and acquired by Amanda (for much less) off the track as a five-year-old. He was called Just Kidding because he was so naughty trotting like an angel one minute then going nowhere the next. In 2018 the pair was 2^nd at the Adelaide 4* and in 2019 was 4^th.
