Jonelle Price

Jonelle Price (née Richards) (born 14 October 1980) is a New Zealand equestrian. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she won the bronze medal in Team eventing. In 2018, she won the Badminton Horse Trials in England and Luhmülen Horse Trials in Germany.

Price also runs a farm business with partner, Tim Price. Jonelle won Badminton in 2018, after many unsuccessful attempts, on the black mare, Classic Moet. Jonelle has taken a year out to have a baby, but then, a week after having her child, got back to riding.

She is a hard worker and for once people noticed this and she got the gratitude she deserves. Tim price, her husband, also got placed at 2018’s Badminton Horse Trials, on their gelding, Ringwood Sky Boy. When asked to describe each other, Jonelle said that Tim was a more talented rider and Tim said that she was more competitive!

Classic Moet (Molly) was the only horse to go clear inside the time at the 2022 renewal of the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials. The combination finished in fourth place behind Tim and VITALI.

Described on Tim and Jonelle's website as "The fastest horse across country in the world who never looks to be in a hurry. Wishes she could do dressage at top speed too. Likes: Pulling faces, particularly during dressage!"

A few years ago a previous version of the website gave her a brilliant profile which referred to her with a human comparison as "the sort of girl you find at the kebab van at 2am".

I am an equine photographer, website designer and hosting provider living in Lincolnshire.

I work with clients who are sole traders and others which are FTSE companies. They are equally important to me.

I am the Public Relations Officer for the Midlands Point-to-Point Association, a role which utilises my PR and social media skills to promote horse racing both online and in the National press.
