Cooley Farm is one of the most prestigious producers of irish sport horses anywhere in the World. Cooley horses are regularly featured on podiums at all levels of competition and Richard Sheane and his team can list many of the World's top riders as clients.
I was contacted by Cooley Farm because they were in need of a rebrand, new domain name and updated website and the time scale was very short. They needed to be able to add to and change some areas of the site whereas others would remain more static.
On of the most important area for them was the showcase of the horses they have produced and sold in the past, their "graduates" as they call them. asking them to edit items in a manually produced grid was a non-starter so instead I utilised a custom "portfolio" post type and created a masonry grid using the items of that type. Now, whenever they want to add a new horse to the graduates page, they create a new portfolio item, give it a title and featured image and save. The page recreates itself and, of course, is completely responsive to different display sizes too.
