A beautiful Oakham wedding! Lucy and Chris were married in the beautiful church in the tiny hamlet of Brooke, near Oakham in Rutland, before returning to Lucy's parents house, about half a mile up the road, for the reception.
Bride and bridesmaid preparation photos were taken at Lucy's parents house before I moved on to The Blue Ball pub in Braunston to catch up with the ushers' who were enjoying their lunch.
A beautiful Morgan (unfortunately no relation) was on hand to carry Lucy and her Father to a packed Brooke Church for the ceremony, and then again for Chris to drive his new wife away afterwards. The sporting couple were received at the reception by a "guard of honour" made up of Chris's ushers holding cricket bats and hockey sticks above their heads.
And yes they put me in a home made "man cage" on the front of a Manitou, to get the group shot at the reception!
