Show Circuit is one of New Zealand's leading equestrian magazines. They have commissioned me to document Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials for them for the last few years.
The brief is sometimes loose, "we want the Kiwi competitors and the other leaders", and sometimes very specific, "here is a mock-up of the cover we want so you need you take this exact photo of one of our riders". It is nice to rise to the challenge! Of course, each rider from NZ needs to be shot over a different fence and no-one can be missed!
This year they added a photo essay to their coverage, written by top British Equestrian journalist Catherine Austen. I have included some of the tearsheets below.
